Motoman DX100 Advanced Programming
The training module consists of classroom lectures in which Motoman instructors present course material consisting of programming commands reinforced with demonstrations. The commands and topics are related to real-world examples and applications. Students enhance the materials covered in the lectures with actual hands-on programming. Students work in teams to perform workshop exercises which emphasize the topics covered in class lectures. Classes are kept small in size, typically 10 or fewer students, in order to promote an interactive, hands-on learning atmosphere. This allows the students to work with each other and YMC instructors in order to grasp the concepts of operating a robot.
YMC Instructors cover topics which enable the students to perform advanced functions with the DX100 Controller. An overview of the primary topics covered in the course is provided below: - Advanced I/O Programming - Defining Cubic Interference Zones - Introduction to Concurrent I/O - Setting Axes Soft Limits - Application of Variable Data - Concurrent Job - Defining and Using Position Variables - Robot Calibration - Use of System Variables - Software Options such as PMT, Relative Job, Interrupt Job, External Reference Point - Naming Variables - Advanced Arithmetic Instructions - Backup Operations
Basic computer skills are required. Windows 98, 2000, XP knowledge is preferred.
Electrical Safety Knowledge is preferred.
Proper Clothing is required! No Shorts, No jewelry, No tank tops, No open toed shoes, sandals or flip flops! This is strictly enforced!
